PureteQ 'Turbo Scrubber' A high-tech, scrubber system for the purification of gas produced from the energy utilization of biomass and flue gas in high polluting industries. PureteQ has developed, manufactured and patented an entirely new scrubber system for the heat recovery and purification of flue gas from biomass-fired boilers at combined heat and power plants, waste incineration plants, industry, and natural-gas-powered combustion engines and similar systems. Hydrodynamic fluid delivery ensures optimal absorption of polluting substances, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and particles.

A large contact surface between the scrubber water and flue gas ensures the stable transfer of heat to external heat exchangers, allowing flue gas to be lowered to around 2 - 4 OC above that of the coolant. For example, returned district heating water at 37 OC can cool the flue gas to 39 - 41 OC. With heat pumps, it is possible to extract even more heat and lower the temperature to achieve a typical COP value of between 5.5 and 6.5.

The system is supplied as a plug & play solution, this ensures rapid, trouble-free installation and commissioning, with minimal downtime of your existing plant. The system is also flexible in terms of volumetric sizing, temperature and physical positioning.
